  • PERFECT END TO OUR USA TRAVELS

Having been on a 3 week tour of the USA we chose the Hotel Fullerton as our final stop as we visited LA and the surrounding areas.

Having arrived at the hotel we were welcomed by a friendly member of staff at reception who took all the usual details and payment. We had to pay a 20% deposit which we hadn't anticipated but other than that everything went exactly as expected.

The room was a touch dated but was a decent size and had two comfortable double beds, a tv, fridge, coffee making facilities and a clean bathroom with a good shower and amenities. The room was also equipped with air conditioning which we made full use of.

There was an outdoor pool with some loungers and free pool towels. I'm not sure if it is always quiet at the pool but it certainly was when we were there and it was very relaxed.

The hotel restaurant has a very smart indoor seating area and a well kept outdoor courtyard which is only a few steps from the pool area. We had a lunch there and also ordered room service one evening and the food was amazing on both occasions. It wasn't cheap but the quality was fantastic and the young guy who was serving us (unfortunately I didn't catch his name) provided us with exceptional service on both occasions.

We used the free shuttle bus to Disney on one of the days which was great and very comfortable. Easy to arrange with a quick phone call to reception and about a 15 minute drive to the drop off point. From there it was about a 5 minute walk to the security gates so it was perfect. They also picked us up from the same spot later on that night.

The area of Los Angeles isn't blessed with great public transport so if you don't have a hire car it can be a bit tricky getting out to some of the other places from the hotel but we used Fullerton station which is about 10 minutes from the hotel. From there it's about 30 minutes on a train to reach Union Station in LA and you can get to various locations from there by bus or their limited metro lines. One other point that people may find useful is that we were quoted around $100 for a taxi from the hotel to LAX but we managed to order an Uber for $42.

I would definitely recommend the Hotel Fullerton and would stay there again. The service and facilities were exceptional and it was a perfect end to our USA travels.

  • NICE, CLEAN AND HELPFUL STAFF

We stayed at The Hotel Fullerton for one night to join our tour to SF the following day. It was a pleasant surprise to find this hotel as advertised. The room and bathroom were nice, comfy and clean. It's also always good to have free coffee in the room.

We met Alex, the night manager, who was very gracious to help us get the supplies we needed to do our laundry in the hotel's coin operated laundry room. He even provided us bottles of water while we did our laundry.

It was great to get some rest at The Hotel Fullerton after a long day!

  • NICE HOTEL NEAR DISNEYLAND

I stayd at the Fullerton Hotel for 4 nights in May 2017. It was a package with breakfast included for $10 more. I had a single King Bedroom in the remodeled Tower wing, facing the back of the hotel, which is not as noisy as the front (the front faces a busy highway). Checkin was a breeze. They always have 1-2 staff at the frontdesk all day and night. The room was moderately spacious, TV had over 30 channels, WiFi was free and fairly fast (password provided). There was a small fridge, small couch and writing desk. Real porcelain cups and glasses (2 of each) were provided. Bathroom was a little on the small side, but good for 1-2 persons. Standard ammenities included hairdryer and moisturizer. There was a mid-size pool (good eough for swimming laps) and heated jacuzzi open till 10pm. The air-conditioned gym had 2 treadmills, weights and was open 24 hrs. Breakfast was typical american - scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, oats (with almonds, raisins & cranberries), fruits (cantalopes, honey dew, watermelon, pineapple), breads with butter/jam, and sometimes biscuits & gravy. There was a restaurant on site (Citizen Kitchen) with interesting cuisine at moderate-prices (the other restaurant was closed). Overall this hotel is a step up from, say, Bestwestern motel and very good value for Fullerton/Anaheim. It is popular with chinese tourists. I'd stay here again.

  • VERY NICE HOTEL

Fullerton and Anaheim may not be noted for their sophistication but this hotel stands out as a superb example that would be accepted in any higher end locale. The entire hotel, especially the lobby, reflects a subtle upscale style. It is clean, modern, and functional, with all the expected amenities including pool, garden, conference rooms, restaurants, free wifi, free business center, plenty of parking, and it is ideally situated to the interstates. My girlfriend and I stayed for 4 nights in early May and took advantage of the included scrumptious breakfast buffet starting at 6am every morning. There was the usual eggs, meats, potatoes, cold and hot cereals, fruits, pastries, and juices, but in addition we were met each morning with a unique surprise dish. I especially liked the strawberry blintzes. The rooms were clean, modern (apparently recently renovated), and most importantly, quiet. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows, everything worked the way it should, and we got fresh towels every day. Every member of the staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Alex, the night manager, went out of his way to help me mail a package for which I did not know the postage. I guessed at what I thought the postage might be, gave him that amount, and with a friendly smile he said he would take care of it. The Hotel Fullerton helped make out trip to the LA area a very pleasant experience. Thanks again!
